NFL Player to Wear Custom Cleats to Support Veterans
We here at XBA are always in support of good causes and charity events. Well, it seems that the NFL is too. As part of the NFLs "My Cause My Cleats" program, which allows players to wear specially designed cleats to support various fundraising and charities, Pittsburgh Steelers stars LeVeon Bell and Alejandro Villanueva will be wearing some custom cleats that have been co-designed by Activisoin and sneaker customizer Kickasso. They will be on display, on the field of course, when the Steelers take on the Cincinnati Bengals on December 1 on Monday Night Football.
These cleats are in support of the Call of Duty Endownment, which is a charity aimed at helping veterans find employment. The Endowment has helped place more than 40,000 veterans into new careers. With that in mind, we just thought that wed spread the news of this neat event, and show off what the cleats look like:
